Characteristics of using a frequency inverter

After using a frequency inverter, thepressure setting of the air compressor can be set to a minimum pressure thatmeets the requirements of the production equipment. The frequency inverter willadjust the speed of the air compressor according to the fluctuation trend ofthe pipeline pressure, and even eliminate the unloading operation of the aircompressor, saving electricity.

The frequency inverter in the systemstabilizes the up and down pressure of the pipeline network, which can reduceor even eliminate pressure fluctuations, so that the air compressors running inthe system operate at a lower pressure that meets production requirements,reducing power loss caused by upward pressure fluctuations.

Due to the possibility of the compressorrunning for a long time under full load, the capacity of the motor can only bedetermined based on the maximum demand, so the design capacity is generallylarger. In actual operation, the proportion of light load operation time isvery high. If variable frequency speed regulation is adopted, it can greatlyimprove the work efficiency during operation. Therefore, using frequency invertersin air compressor systems has great energy-saving potential.

Pay attention to the direction of motor rotation during trial operation and prohibit reverse rotation

Keep the Y/△ conversion contactor of theoriginal machine, but only use the △ connection method. With a frequency inverter,the ㄚ shape is no longer needed. Therefore, theconstant starting point of the air delay head (or time relay) is used tocontrol the start of the frequency inverter. This way, when starting the aircompressor, the contactor is first connected to the △ delay for three secondsbefore giving the frequency inverter a start signal to ensure that the motorstarts the frequency inverter under the premise of the △ connection method. Whynot simply fix the motor wire in the △ shape because sometimes it still needsto work at the power frequency
