Technology overview

1)   Air compressor compress the air with piston or screw which used for power, refrigeration, gas delivery or other special purposes.

2)   The inlet valve and exhaust valve is controlled by the pressure in the original air compressor system. So as to adjust cylinder pressure and keep it constant, the main motor often operate with light load.

3)   When the  motor automatic unloading with the highest pressure which will cause a lot of power Waste.

4)   When the compressor is frequently loading and unloading which will prolong of the equipment maintenance time and shorten the motor service life.

5)   When the air compressor in the process of start, the current is too large which influence power grid stability and other electric equipment normal operation, which will let the  equipment shock big, wear Serious.

System principle

This system use the pressure as the object of control, the pressure value is given by frequency converter digital Keyboard. It can be adjusted according to the actual needs of the gas equipment, set the maximum permissible working pressure freely in Air compressor. Pressure sensor can detect the real-time gas pressure of supply pipe network then pass a transmitter conversion , output of the standard 4-20 mA or 0-10 V Signal which is sent to the converter feedback, in the frequency converter with PID closed-loop Control, according to the system ‘s real-time requirements to adjust the frequency converter‘s Output, thus adjust the compressor motor speed, guarantee the network‘s pressure keep constant.

System characteristics

1) System frequency conversion startup, reduce  air compressor wear and reduce maintenance cost, extend the air compressor life.

2) When the air compressor is dormant with little usage of gas, the electricity

3) Machine is low frequency operation. when the gas usage is large, air compressor return to normal operating which save electric energy 30% - 50%.

4) Frequency inverter adjust the motor speed according to the pressure sensor signal  , to realize the pressure closed loop control.

5) Running state can keep the cylinder gas pressure is constant, fluctuation fan level is small, the true realization of "constant pressure air supply".

6) Economizer have working frequency conversion function, even if converter is faulty,can switch to power frequency state, does not affect the normal use of the system.
